DILG Albay Launches the “Tindahan Nang mga Tapat”: A Store of Convenience and Integrity
We are pleased to introduce the DILG Albay Honesty Store: Tindahan Nang mga Tapat, an innovative initiative by the Program Manager, Ms. CONIEFER CODIA, aimed at providing convenience and fostering the value of honesty among our employees. With the unpredictable weather of the “ber” months and the intense midday heat, this store eliminates the need for employees to leave the office to purchase essential goods for the welfare of the employees, as our office is distant from other stores. This convenience allows them to focus more on their duties.
The Tindahan Nang mga Tapat operates on a self-service system where employees can select goods and make payments in the golden tray placed above the refrigerator. This promotes a culture of integrity within the workplace, encouraging everyone to practice honesty—a core value we continuously uphold in delivering excellent government services and technical assistance to our local government units (LGUs).
All proceeds from the store will be allocated to outreach programs planned for later this fiscal year. Additionally, the store’s offerings will be expanded based on employee requests, with themes that reflect the seasons or the needs of each month.
