On September 24 and October 1, 2024, technical personnel from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Albay conducted inspection and validation across 14 barangays in Polangui. The barangays inspected included Itaran, Pinagdapugan, Buyo, Sugcad, La Medalla, San Roque, Matacon, Danao, Maysua, Anopol, Amoguis, and Cotmon, along with the assessment of motor vehicle for the SGLG-IF (Seal of Good Local Governance – Incentive Fund) in LGU Polangui.
The inspection team, comprising Engrs. III Marc Jose Obo and Clint Borromeo, Engrs. II Simoun John Elmer Santidad and Esperanza Cuya-Bedar, along with PEOs II Engr. Randy Catura and Majestie A. Magas, focused on two main areas: validating the water supply system and inspecting the Multi-Purpose Building projects.
In their assessment of the water supply system, they confirmed the specific locations of water sources to ensure their suitability for community use. For the Multi-Purpose Building projects, the team verified that all materials met the required quantity and quality standards as detailed in the Program of Works, ensuring compliance with construction regulations.
Additionally, geo-tagged photos of all projects were taken as part of the monitoring and evaluation process. This information will be uploaded into the Subaybayan system for accurate tracking and oversight. This comprehensive approach underscores DILG Albay’s commitment to effective project management and community development.
