The ongoing assessment evaluates the effectiveness of the LCAT VAWCs of the 3 cities and 15 municipalities in the province of Albay in jousting trafficking in persons (TIP) and eradicating violence against women and their children (VAWC). It covers the committee’s functionality per its roles, responsibilities, policies, programs and plans implemented and accomplished for the performance year 2023.

As part of the performance oversight function of the DILG, the PIMT is chaired by DILG Albay Provincial Director, Vice-chaired by the Albay PSWDO in compliance to its supervisory function over component LGUs. Further, member of the PIMT are from the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Provincial Health Office, Albay Police Provincial Office, and CSO Representative from the Albay KALIPI Federation.
