CLGOO Elmer M. Villanueva, Jr. presented the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Governance Assessment Report or GAR and its recommendations. Meanwhile, LGMES Chief Theza Rose N. Ramos and LGCDS Chief Jerus Merenciano, highlighted the performance of Ligao City on the various programs, projects and activities being handled by the two sections.

In his message, PD Caceres stressed the important role that Ligao City plays in the socio-economic landscape of the Province of Albay and lauded the LGU’s efficiency on program implementation and service delivery, as he encouraged the city officials present to sustain this excellent performance.

For his part, Mayor Gonzalez warmly welcomed PD Caceres’ designation as the new Provincial Director of DILG Albay, giving emphasis on the fruitful partnership between the agency and the LGU in the past years and expressing his gratitude for all the technical assistance rendered to them.

Also present during the activity were DILG Albay Program Manager LGOO VI Coniefer Codia, Cluster II Head LGOO VII Rebecca Britanico, LGOO III Fe Rico, Cluster LGOO II Karla Rico and the Ligao City DILG – LGRC personnel.
