The implementation of the Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) Program is now in full swing in the province of Albay. The said program aims to equitably assist municipalities in the delivery of basic services to its constituents by providing financial subsidy for the implementation of their priority projects.

In the province of Albay, there are 34 priority subprojects approved by the National Government that are now being implemented by the 14 selected municipalities. As of April 2018, 22 subprojects are on-going, 1 subproject is under DED preparation, 4 are under procurement process and 7 are completed.

The 7 completed subprojects are from the municipalities of Pioduran, Camalig and Rapu-Rapu. Four (4) out of seven (7) subprojects are road concreting, while the remaining three (3) subprojects are Small Water Impounding Project (Camalig), Potable Water System (Rapu – Rapu) and Multi – Purpose Hall (Pioduran).

The other twenty – seven (27) subprojects are stricly being monitored by DILG and must be completed before December 31, 2018.
