The Department of the Interior and Local Government of the Province of Sorsogon under the supervision of Provincial Director Julius Rodel L. Cal-Ortiz facilitated the planning-workshop on the Peace and Order and Public Safety (POPS) Plan for the year 2020-2022 last November 18-19, 2019 at SPDRRMO Building, Brgy. Burabod, Sorsogon City.
This was participated by the POPS Technical Working Group, which includes the provincial heads of offices, officers/representatives from the National Government Agencies (DILG, PNP, AFP, BFP, DAR, DPWH, DepEd, NCIP and PDEA), and other civil society organization representatives.
The activity is pursuant to the DILG MC 2019-143 mandating all POC levels to craft their three (3) year POPS Plan within the first 200 days of the newly-elected Local Chief Executive (LCE).
