Francisco Guardian Ete, 45 years old is a resident of one of the beneficiary barangays of the FY 2023 Support to Barangay Development Program.

Francisco, a farmer, who is born and raised in Barangay San Roque, Bulusan, Sorsogon, benefits from the barangay’s priority project focused on the construction of a farm-to-market road. This initiative has significantly eased the transportation of his goods to and from the market, thereby enhancing his earning opportunities.

“Dati ang daanan namin dito ay [maputik at parang daanan lang ng kalabaw]. Talagang nilalakad lang namin. Ngayon na mayroon na kaming maayos na kalsada, nakatulong ito dahil nakakaakyat na ang tricycle dito at di na kami mahihirapan sa pag-lakad or dala ng mga kalakal.”

Following the successful implementation of the project, Francisco extends his gratitude to both the local government and national government agencies that played significant roles in bringing the initiative to fruition.
