In recognition of the effective execution of the 2023 Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in Sorsogon Province, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sorsogon Provincial Operations Office organized the 2023 RCSP Provincial Year-end Evaluation on December 21, 2023, at Cabana Esperanza, Bibincahan, Sorsogon City. This said activity aimed to review the program’s key highlights and achievements through the years, including the consolidated list and updates of Projects, Programs & Activities from each National Government Agency, impact assessment, and documentation of SBDP Projects, along with addressing the Issues and Concerns encountered during RCSP implementation.

Moreover, the activity sought to acknowledge the dedicated efforts of the field officers and various national and local agency partners who consistently contribute to the program’s effective implementation. The Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), in accordance with Executive Order (E070), represents an institutionalized whole-of-nation approach that unites national and local government entities, as well as business and civil society. Formulated to address community-identified issues and bridge governance and development gaps, RCSP ensures sustained development and lasting peace by delivering necessary government initiatives.
