In recognition of the successful implementation of the 2023 Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) in the Province of Sorsogon, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sorsogon Provincial Operations Office conducted the 2023 RCSP Provincial Summing-Up on September 11, 2023 at People’s Mansion, Flores St., Burabod, Sorsogon City.

This whole-day activity aims to recapitulate the program’s significant highlights and accomplishments such as the consolidated list and updates of Projects, Programs, and Activities of each National Government Agency as well as the Issues and Concerns encountered during the implementation of the RCSP.

More so, the said activity intends to recognize and acknowledge the efforts of the dedicated team of field officers and various national and local agency partners who continuously contribute in ensuring the effective implementation of the program.

As part of strengthening the inter-agency collaboration in the implementation, Local Chief Executives and participating agencies signed the pledge of commitment in continuous support to the program.

The Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) is pursuant to Executive Order (E070) and is an institutionalized whole-of-nation approach that brings together the national and local government and the business and civil society. The RCSP was formulated to address the identified issues of the community and close governance and development gaps by providing needed government PAs, while ensuring sustained development and lasting peace.
