The DILG Sorsogon headed by Provincial Director Julius Rodel L. Cal-Ortiz and with technical support from DILG Region V CBMS focal person and staff, facilitated the Clustered CBMS-APP Module 1 Training of the Municipalities of Barcelona, Castilla and Juban on January 28-30, 2020 at Paradise Hotel, Pangpang, Sorsogon City.

CBMS-APP or the Community-Based Monitoring System Accelerated Poverty Profiling is an organized process of data collection and processing at the local level, that can help measure the extent of poverty in a local government unit. It will serve as basis for local planning, program implementation and impact monitoring.

Data collection is web-based, using questionnaires in a census software mobile application called CBMS Scan.

The 3-day activity featured lectures and hands-on exercises on accessing and using the CBMS Scan. It was participated by the CBMS TWG and data enunerators.
