The municipalities of Barcelona and Bulusan were the only two municipalities in Bicol Region conferred with the 2019 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Award.

This was the result of the annual ADAC Audit conducted in every LGU. It measures the functionality of MADAC in terms of its organization, meetings, physical and financial accomplishments especially on barangay drug-clearing. It also recognizes ADAC’s innovations and best pratices.

Sorsogon is also the only province in Bicol without low passing scores from the said audit.
