DILG 5 would like to congratulate one of its provincial operations office, DILG Albay, as one the finalists of the renowned Bugkos ng Bayan Award at the 7th Capacity Development Awards for Catalysts of Excellence (CapDev ACE) Gabi ng Parangal, held on December 12, 2024, at The Manila Hotel in Ermita, Manila.

Showcasing the spirit of collaboration and innovation, DILG Albay engaged multiple stakeholders, including Local Government Units, Non-Governmental Organizations, and community members. They also replaced manual systems with a digital performance assessment tool that tracks the performance of C/MLGOOs and other personnel, providing real-time feedback and enabling timely adjustments.

These efforts and innovative programs highlighted DILG Albay’s outstanding commitment in driving excellence in local governance— making them stand out in this year’s CapDev ACE Bugkos ng Bayan.
