To strengthen how local governance institutions create, share, and use knowledge in achieving their mandates, the Bicol Local Governance Resource Center (LGRRC), together with its Sub-LGRRCs, conducted the Knowledge Management (KM) Audit Orientation last June 25, 2025, through a hybrid setup (face-to-face and Zoom).

The KM Audit is a vital step in enhancing informed decision-making, improving internal processes, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and innovation within DILG Region V. With LGOO VI Euly Q. Enrique, Assistant Division Chief of the Local Government Academy’s Resource and Policy Development Division (RPDD), as the main resource person, the orientation provided participants with a foundational understanding of KM principles, an overview of the KM audit process, and hands-on exercises using four key KM tools.

This initiative reaffirms DILG Region V’s commitment to advancing knowledge-driven governance and building institutional capacity across the region.
