The Barangay Newly Elected Officials (BNEO) Program Manager’s Orientation, was held on January 16, 2024 at the Marison Hotel, Legazpi City.

Facilitated by the Local Government Academy and attended by the Regional and Provincial BNEO Teams, the activity primarily aims to orient DILG Regional and Field Officers about the program framework and strategy of implementation, as well as on the design of the Basic Orientation Course for barangay officials.

The Barangay Newly-Elected Officials (BNEO) is a term-based flagship program which serves as a capacity development intervention designed to enhance the competencies of elected barangay officials to transform them into champions of excellence in basic service delivery and bring the government closer to the people.
