As part of the Department’s mandate in assisting Local Government Units on complying with the standards prescribed under Republic Act 11032 or Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the DILG Region V along with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region V assessed the Local Government Unit of Pili, Camarines Sur on its compliance to EODB law on August 12, 2025 at the Municipal Hall, Pili, Camarines Sur.

The audit is conducted to check the LGU’s performance and evaluate the assistance needed by the LGUs to strengthen their capacities for more efficient delivery of services to their constituents specially in processing business and non-business-related transactions with the LGU as well as to provide guidelines in streamlining of the relevant processes related thereto, consistent and in compliance with existing laws.

The audit team is composed of representatives from DILG – Bureau of Local Government Development, DILG Region V representatives, DILG Camarines Sur Provincial Office personnel, and DICT Region V Representatives which thoroughly assessed the status of compliance of the LGU on RA 11032.
